Serving the Phoenix & Tucson Metro Areas
What The Homeless ID Project Does
An ID Is More Than a Piece of Plastic. It’s a First Step Out of Homelessness.
Homeless ID Project helps individuals and families experiencing homelessness obtain the identification documents they need to access employment, housing, healthcare, benefits and other essential services.
We remove the barriers that can make obtaining an ID extraordinarily difficult for someone experiencing homelessness.
These services are provided at no cost to the client, thanks to generous community support.
Why Identification Matters
At the Homeless ID Project, we believe no one should be denied housing, work, or healthcare simply because they lack a piece of identification. Without an ID → barriers to employment, housing, healthcare, benefits, banking, education, treatment, etc.
We exist to open those doors.
Help is provided, at no cost, t0 domestic violence survivors, kids aging out of foster care, Veterans and seniors.
